Golden Bliss Bakery is a home based bakery located in Queens NY. Golden Bliss Bakery was founded in 2013 by Imani Ianthy, our lead baker. Imani finds joy in baking, a hobby she obtained as a child. As a child, Imani’s mother would make her famous chocolate cake for every special occasion. Once Imani became old enough her mother taught her the family recipe and she’s been tweaking it ever since. In addition to constantly improving and teaching herself new techniques she has taken baking classes at Butter Lane Bakery as well as buttercream, fondant, and royal icing classes through The Wilton School of Cake Decorating and Confectionary Art. After much practice friends and family members started to inquire about purchasing her cakes and cupcakes. She never imagined her hobby would become a business. As a woman of color Imani aspires to bring diversity to the baking industry. She is extremely passionate about not only creating beautiful cupcakes, but cupcakes that look as good as they taste.
